It is enclosed in a gilded brass frame including a high twisted movable handle decorated with flowers, a frieze of acanthus leaves and openwork scrolls bordering the glass, decorated with pendants of hanging uraline pearls. The structure rests on a tripod base made of voluble brass wires.
