This elegant pink opaline garniture is distinguished by the vibrancy of its pastel hue, internally lined with a milky white opaline layer. The refined black and gold enamel decoration, with motifs inspired by Renaissance and Second Empire ornament, perfectly illustrates the expertise of the great French and Bohemian glassworks in the 19th century, when opaline glass reached its peak of popularity under Napoleon III.
