Sugar bowl resting on a flared pedestal, with a porcelain lid decorated with oval panels painted with polychrome bouquets of flowers and fruit arrangements, against a purplish-violet background richly adorned with gold scrolls, foliage and small flowers. The borders are accented with friezes of pearls and gilded fillets.
