BLUE INWOVEN LETTER D HOUSING FOR 1756-57, PAINTER’S MARK FOR MEREAUD, TWO-POINT BLUE ON THE EDGE MARK FOR PAINTER GROUND.

Painted with spiral panels of hanging flowers and blue scalloped bands edged with gold shavings, the lid with a buttercup finial.

Condition: Free of cracks, fine lines, nicks.Little touch of gilding on the edge.
