A French rectangular red-glass perfume casket with an elaborate openwork gilt-metal mount, scroll feet and lateral drop handles. The hinged lid is inset with an oval miniature view of a Parisian monument under glass.
The fitted interior holds two matching scent flacons with hinged gilt-metal caps, each inset with a miniature view of a Parisian landmark. France, 19th century, Napoleon III period.
