Monumental clear-glass hookah base with a wide globular body, tall knopped neck and pedestal foot. Decorated with gilding, polychrome enamels, cobalt medallions with birds, floral arabesques and Mamluk-inspired scrollwork. Bohemia, attributed to J. & L. Lobmeyr for the Ottoman market, circa 1870–1890. Very good condition.
