A Russian Imperial Porcelain Manufactory plate painted in polychrome enamel with a Suprematist/Futurist central composition of geometric forms in red, black, grey and pink, framed by a Russian floral border. Reverse with Nicholas II mark dated 1903 and later Soviet hammer-and-sickle/cogwheel factory mark dated 1921. Early propaganda porcelain painted on a tsarist-era blank.
