A French lavender opaline glass ewer with an elongated flared spout, ovoid body and stepped circular foot. The finely chased gilt-bronze handle is modelled as a swan’s head and neck, with feathered detailing, and joins a floral-patterned mount around the body.
France, Charles X period, circa 1820–1830. Attributed to Le Creusot, Baccarat or Bercy.
